Well, then…

I am both unmotivated and busy at the moment, which is not a good combination for either blogging or my work. But at least I haven’t been sacked by SMS.

One can wish, though, for a nice fat redundancy package. Like that is going to happen.

I have decided to take the (for me) momentous step of part-time at work, both so that I can take a definite step away from the corporate insanity and so that I can assist John with setting up our business. It won’t be happening until at least the end of June, though. That way we can start the new financial year with a clean slate.

It feels great to have finally made the decision to, if not leave, then at least scale down my corporate wage-slavery. I would eventually like to get to the stage where I can leave work entirely and just do some office temping here and there to supplement what the business brings in. Oh, I long for that day.

On another front, Terrain (the exhibition that John currated and is showing in) will apparently be written up in the Metro section of the Sydney Morning Herald this week. On Friday, I think… Yay!
