As I am trying to type this my cat, Zelda is determined to sit in front of, or preferably on, the keyboard. I have to move her every 30 seconds or so, but she can’t understand why I am “rejecting” her, so she bites and jumps straight back on top of the keyboard. It’s been going on all night.
She normally doesn’t sit on the keyboard, but tonight she is doing it because a) it is warm from both my body heat and the heater directly under the computer table, and b) she saw Lexy doing it last night, and was jealous. Nevermind that she has plenty of cuddles in other locations that Lexy doesn’t – under the bed covers, for instance – and that the computer has always been Lexy’s special “cuddle spot”. A tortoiseshell spurned is a force to be reckoned with.
I went to my GP today, first time in a long while, and finally got a referral to an opthamologist for my KC. I also mentioned my headaches to her. She checked me out for blood pressure, since I am now on a fairly high dose of Effexor (225mg), but that was all clear. After asking a heap of questions she thought my headaches might be due either to being ‘headache prone’ or my keratoconus. Really? Do you think?
