What I find amazing is the disconnect here. Doing unhealthy things to lose weight are “bad”, but (according to the koolaid) so is being fat. If you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t, why are you surprised that people will do anything to lose weight?

I’m glad anyone is speaking about about the unhealthy practices associated with TBL. I do wish Ajay had avoided the “drink the koolaid” phrase because of the 900+ people that died, including 200 children that were murdered at Jonestown.

I read your blog. I loved it.
I live in a country where fat is considered the ugliest thing in the planet, i Live in a country where they are many many problem but if you are size 0 is everything ok in the world. i live in a country where they had to make a law so shops has all sizes i live in a place where the biggest size in shops is size 10 (US) even after the law.
I live in a place where children are starving and scholarity is still an issue, but the image is everything. i live in Argentina (latinamerica) where women are objectified everywhere.
I would love to accept my self like you do. but is really hard.

It’s called a fan-fiction and I loved it. We see these in comics, movie spoofs, SNL, Star Wars, and other popular cult icons where fans are hungry for more. If you can write a better one, then do so. She wrote her own ending for closure of an unfinished story in an UNAUTHORIZED SEQUEL. Get over it. Nobody forced you to read what you deem a bad book. To each their own. Maybe you should read Stephen King’s Misery, whacko. You probably complained when new Sherlock Holmes stories and movies were published after A.C. Doyle died.
