Return of The Vortex

We did it again. Another unplanned, rather expensive trip into The Vortex and back. Purchases are below the fold (links to IMDB as usual):

Oh Lady, Be Good

Bought a fabulous Ella Fitzgerald CD today – For the Love of Ella Fitzgerald. Side 1 is devoted to Swing, Be-Bop and Scat (get your mind out of the gutter…the jazz music style, for Christ’s sake!). Side 2 is devoted to Ballads and Blues. The first CD is my favourite, as I believe Ella was at her best when she was improvising and going wild. Love it.
