Just got a call from John to say that he is in St Vincent’s Casualty. Apparently, he injured his eye this afternoon when he was making a cup of tea as some water and metal from the hotplate went into his eye. I am not sure why he didn’t go to
Casualty immediately except that he says that he thought he wouldn’t need to if he kept flushing his eye out. But his eye became more painful as the night wore on, and started weeping. He thinks it may be infected. At least he is getting it looked at now, but I really wish he had gone to Casualty straight away.

Some Participation Positives for today

• John’s Honours exhibition went off well,
• It’s pay day on Thursday (I am on monthly pay),
• Had a good session with my therapist today. More stuff about identifying what my wants and needs are,
• Zelda is (for once!) not pacing back and forth over the keyboard while I write,
• We have changed to an ISP that seems half-way decent, is upfront about their policies (unlike others) and has better speed and bandwidth. Too bad we still can’t afford broadband.
